Real Madrid's winger Issues Apology to The Madrid Club Devotees

Vinicius Jr in action

Vinicius Jr has registered five finishes in ten La Liga appearances this season.

The Madrid giants winger Vinicius Jr has apologised to the fanbase for his conduct when substituted in Sunday's fiery match against Barcelona victory.

The Brazilian was replaced in the second half and displayed his annoyance by walking immediately to the dressing room.

Vinicius later returned to the sidelines and, following his club's 2-1 victory, sought to engage Barça's Lamine Yamal during contentious after the game incidents.

"This day I want to express regret to all the Madridistas for my behavior when I was taken off in the derby," the player shared on X.

"In the same way as I have previously expressed during today's session, I also want to express regret anew to my colleagues, the organization, and the president.

"At times emotion overcomes me because I constantly desire to succeed and assist my club. My competitive character originates in the passion I have for this institution and each thing it stands for."

The player joined Real from Flamengo in the year 2018 for a significant fee and has notched 111 goals in 335 appearances.

But his career in the Madrid is uncertain with reports in the past few months stating that Real would think about letting the young star depart if they got a appropriate bid.

When the winger was substituted on Sunday, cameras from coverage provider Dazn recorded him saying: "Again me! I'm exiting the club! It's preferable if I go, I'm leaving."

In his new post on X, Vinicius commented: "I vow to keep fighting every second for the benefit of the club, as I have done since the initial arrival."
